Cologne: citkar introduces premium partners

Berlin, October 6, 2020 – The Berlin cargo bike manufacturer citkar is introducing its first premium partner in North Rhine-Westphalia as part of the start of series production. Cargo Bike Schneider takes over the sale and service for the cargo bikes of the type Loadster from citkar with immediate effect.

As part of the “Demo Day 2020” on October 17 from 10 am to 5 pm, a citkar team with a Loadster Life will be visiting the cargo bike specialist Schneider and will present the four-wheeled commercial vehicle in detail. In addition to test drives of the Loadster for those interested, it is also possible to visit the workshop where cargo bikes are serviced and repaired. citkar’s CEO Jonas Kremer is delighted with the new cooperation: “With Cargo Bike Schneider we were able to win a proven cargo bike expert as a premium partner, who does not only sell our products competently and with dedication, but also offers customers all services.”

Maximum funding for cargo bikes in NRW until the end of November 2020

The demo day of citkar and Cargo Bike Schneider falls at a favourable time for municipalities and companies, as the funding for the purchase of cargo bikes is higher than ever: The funding programme “Low-Emission Mobility” supports municipalities and municipal companies as well as legal entities partnerships and natural persons as freelancers and traders in the acquisition costs for electric cargo bikes.

For municipalities and municipal companies, the subsidy amounts to 70 percent of the acquisition costs (max. 6,200 euros), for legal entities 40 percent (max. 3,500 euros) can be claimed. The funding measure with increased funding rates ends on November 30, 2020, by then the application must be submitted via the progres.nrw programme. After receiving the donation notification, the Loadster cargo bike can be ordered. The buyer applies for the donation itself after receiving the cargo bike and then transfers it.

citkar GmbH from Berlin has developed the Loadster: an e-bike as a commercial vehicle, fully covered and on four wheels. With the Loadster, municipalities and companies in the city can provide services and transport goods quickly, comfortably and safely – past traffic jams on four wheels.
