citkar starts series production and cooperates with digital insurer hepster

The cargo bike manufacturer citkar started series production of the Loadster cargo bike in October 2020. The manufacture in Berlin-Marzahn currently has a monthly capacity of 160 vehicles, which can be scaled upwards. citkar is thus positioning itself as a reliable and innovative manufacturer that serves its customers in the rapidly growing cargo bike segment with three models and two bodies each (closed box or flatbed). Exclusive hepster insurance package for e-vehicles

For the joint cooperation, digital insurer hepster has developed an exclusive insurance package for e-vehicles: Every Loadster model that is traveling at up to 25 km/h and does not require registration can be fully covered with hepster.

The strong hepster protection includes fully comprehensive insurance for e-vehicles including a cover letter and thus protects against the financial consequences of damage and wear and tear as well as theft – with no deductible and without usage restrictions. This means that the Lodaster is optimally protected in every situations, even during commercial use. In addition, the included cover letter offers Europe-wide 24-hour emergency aid. This means that Loadster drivers are quickly mobile again in the event of a breakdown, an accident or theft.

As part of the start of series production, citkar presented its first premium partner in North Rhine-Westphalia with the cargo bike dealer Schneider. At the “Demo Day” in Cologne, the citkar team was invited to the cargo bike specialist Schneider with a Loadster Life and explained the four-wheeled commercial vehicle in detail. In addition to test drives of the Loadster for interested parties, it was also possible to visit the workshop where cargo bikes are serviced and repaired. citkar’s CEO Jonas Kremer welcomes the new cooperation: “With Cargo Bike Schneider we were able to win a proven cargo bike expert as a premium partner, who does not only sell our product competently and with commitment, but also offers customers all services. “

The network of premium partners is expanding rapidly: In addition to Berlin and Cologne, dealers from Frankfurt a.M., Mainz, Freiburg i.Br., Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Vienna are now also represented. Premium partners are the link between citkar and customers. They advise on the selection of models and possible subsidies, sell the Loadster and are responsible for maintenance and service.
